Our program is taught in an online format with weekly synchronous meeting, once a week in the evening for eight weeks. Specific courses under consideration include: Research Methods in Counseling, Group Counseling, Advanced techniques and Crisis Interventions, Career Counseling, and Counseling Children and Adolescents.

Counseling University of Louisiana at Monroe Required: Candidates will possess a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program. Candidates who specialized in clinical mental health, addictions, and/or school counseling and have previously taught core areas and/or specialized areas of counseling. 1-2 years of online teaching experience in a counseling program. Supervision experience for Practicum and Internship courses.
