Health Information Technology Franklin University Franklin University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach online Health Informatics courses within our Healthcare Administration programs. Required: PhD or other terminal degree (EdD, DHA, MD, etc.) with the completion of a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Health Informatics or Health Information Management. Doctorate in Biomedical Informatics or Public Health preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience teaching masters and/or doctoral level courses in higher education.
Health Information Technology Sullivan University Required: Masters degree, RHIT or RHIA, CCS and/or CCS-P (preferred), 5 years of vocational experience in related field, plus experience in teaching and/or administration in post- secondary education, and minimum three years of experience teaching online courses. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Health Information Technology Franklin University Instructors will teach undergrad level courses beginning Spring Term 2019. Courses are taught online and will vary in length from 6 to 12 weeks. Required: A masters degree in a healthcare-related field from a regionally accredited University is required. Must have 3-5 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. RHIA or CPHIMS credential is required. Prefer one to three years teaching in an HIT/HIM program.
