History University of the People Online teaching experience using a learning management system is preferred. The minimum degree requirement is a masters degree with a Ph.D. preferred in the discipline (Arts, History, Archaeology, or closely related field). Instructors may also teach undergraduate general education courses with a master's degree in the assigned area or have a master's degree and 18 semester hours in the discipline. Expertise is required in the subject area of the course.
